Itinerary
Once we have confirmed your booking, we will arrange a pickup directly from your accommodation in Moshi or Arusha. The transfer will start early, around 7:00 AM, heading to Simba Farm on West Kilimanjaro, which is our starting point.
Simba farm is situated on top of the vast wheat and barley fields overlooking the west Kilimanjaro plains near mt.Kilimanjaro climbing gate lemosho route. Originally Simba Estate, it was built in the early 1900s and is now a working farm set in 7,000 acres, with elevated and stunning views across the Maasai Lands.Our ride today cover 34 kilometres going towards TingaTinga village which is settlements of Maasai known as “bomas”, are scattered around TingaTinga.
The Maasai in TingaTinga continue to live traditionally, dressed in their colourful blankets and celebrating their traditional ceremonies. They aren’t as used to seeing tourists more common in other areas visited by visitors.
We will take first 4 kilometers on smooth tarmac to Ngarenairobi town, then passing through Mawasiliano gravel roads , keeping your eyes peeled because these lands support a remarkable variety of wildlife like (antelope, elephant giraffes zebras etc). as you reach your overnight stop to Olpopongi Maasai Lodge.
Here you will learn about Maasai traditions and customs walking nearby villages. At the end of evening time we’ll have time to enjoy delicious dinner, story at born fire before going to sleep .Getting ready for you next day to Sanya juu.

TingaTinga Maasai Village to Sanya Juu (40 km) As the sun rises, we set off through the vast Maasai grazing plains. Along the way, we’ll meet local Maasai herders and, on a clear day, enjoy breathtaking, dual views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. We will ride across the Ngasurai open plains—a vital wildlife corridor for animals migrating between Amboseli and Arusha National Parks.
Our route also takes us past the vibrant Ngabobo Maasai market. If you’d like to stretch your legs and snap some photos, we can stop so you can explore and experience the bustling local trade.
Midway through our journey, we will pause for a scenic bush lunch right in the heart of the wild, allowing you to dine while taking in the spectacular, panoramic views of the African savannah.
Our ride concludes at the House of West Kili Lodge in Sanya Juu, our comfortable home for the night.

Sanya Juu to Kikuletwa Hotsprings (28 km) Today’s ride is a true visual treat! We’ll pedal through picturesque farmlands, enjoying stunning, clear-sky views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the Shira Plateau. The route includes a smooth 12 km stretch on tarmac followed by 16 km of scenic dirt roads, leading us straight to the highlight of the day: the Chemka Hotsprings (Kikuletwa).
Chemka is a crystal-clear, natural underground pool fed by the waters of Mount Kilimanjaro. While the local name Chemka means “boiling”—inspired by the way the water bubbles as it surfaces—the pool is actually a perfectly refreshing, pleasant temperature.
Upon arrival, take a short stroll around this oasis before diving in. You can enjoy a refreshing swim, try out the playful rope swings, or indulge in a natural “fish massage” spa treatment. It’s the ultimate place to unwind, relax, and reflect on your journey. After your swim, a delightful lunch and cold drinks will be served by the water.
Later this afternoon, we will transfer you back to your accommodation in Moshi/Arusha wrapping up a fantastic biking adventure.
