Itinerary

FIRST STOP: OUR BIKE SHOP IN MOSHI TOWN

Start your adventure with us at the bike shop in Moshi Town, nestled in the north of Tanzania, right by the famous Mount Kilimanjaro. Moshi is a gem, known for its breathtaking views of the iconic mountain, attracting climbers from all around.
Step into our bike shop, where a warm welcome awaits. We’ll walk you through the tour details, and soon you’ll be geared up with a bike and helmet, ready for the journey ahead.

SECOND STOP: KARANGA GERMAN OLD BRIDGE

Our tour begins with a ride along the old Moshi to the Arusha main road. As we navigate, we’ll cross the old German bridge over the Karanga River, sourced from majestic Mount Kilimanjaro.  From the bridge will then head to the tranquil Shanty Town neighborhood before reaching our next stop (Masoka Village). Shanty Town is a neighborhood characterized by its uniqueness – exclusively home to affluent locals, creating a serene and secure environment.

Contrary to common perception, it is important to note that the term “shanty town” does not necessarily imply financial difficulties here.

THIRD STOP: BORO VILLAGE

Experience not only the cultural richness but also a change in scenery. The elevation gain adds adventure, offering stunning views. Pass through Arabic coffee plantations and lush banana trees, creating a picturesque blend of nature and local agriculture as you cycle through Boro village before reaching our next stop which is the top highlight of this tour – Nubi Caves.

FOURTH STOP: NUBI CAVES IN KIBOSHO VILLAGE

As we continue cycling towards the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro, our third stop is at the Nubi Chagga Civil War Caves in Kibosho Village. Owned by a local Chagga family, the caves hold rich heritage. Enjoy captivating stories, followed by a taste of Chagga local beer (banana wine) and a lunch steeped in tradition. It is not just a stop; it’s an immersion into Chagga culture and hospitality.

LAST STOP: KIBOSHO OLD CATHOLIC CHURCH

Our final stretch leads to the Kibosho Old Catholic Church, a relic from the German colonial era. Pass through a lively local market with friendly Chagga people offering warm greetings (Jambo!!)in swahili language.

Explore the historical charm of the church upon arrival, capturing memories before descending to Moshi town. Let the echoes of the past and the friendliness of the present create lasting memories of this enriching journey.
